There’s already been lot wonderful things said about Eugen Bacon’s illustrated book of micro fiction/poetic fiction, with glorious artwork by Elena Betti. It is with great pleasure and pride that we can announce that Black Moon: Graphic Speculative Flash Fiction is now released world wide.
“IFWG is proud indeed of this chapbook-gem,” said Gerry Huntman, Managing Director, “as it is experimental, yet clearly an entertaining, insightful read. It is also the first of our new chapbook series line – a glorious start indeed.”
This is a unique, experimental book, first in IFWG’s Chapbook line of tiles, providing poetic prose in short form, each story/vignette accompanied by evocative art by Elena Betti. The books are superbly put together in full colour, on quality paper – 72 pages long.
Black Moon is an illustrated collection of speculative flash fiction interspersed with prose poetry. It carries themes of love and war, life and the afterlife, hope and despair. It is a philosophical assortment that questions normalcy, embraces opposition, and takes a keen interest on peculiarity. It will appeal to curious lovers of literary dark fantasy and all places in between.
Preorders are only available in Australia, UK and North America, and will be shipped to readers well prior to release (note that with current pandemic condition, there may be delays beyond our control).
