New Release: Tool Tales by Kaaron Warren & Ellen Datlow

IFWG is proud to release the second in its ongoing chapbook series, Tool Tales: Microfiction Inspired By Antique Tools, with photography by Ellen Datlow, and microfiction accompanying each photo by Kaaron Warren. “It was a pleasure to work with Kaaron and Ellen,” said Gerry Huntman, Managing Director of IFWG, “and I thoroughly enjoyed the Zoom sessions and email iterations. While this was a small project – being a chapbook after all – the whole process went smooth as silk, mainly because we had such fun. I think this spirit comes out in its pages.”

Multi-award winning creators Ellen Datlow and Kaaron Warren teamed up on Facebook a few years ago when Ellen posted photos of antique tools and Kaaron wrote microfiction pieces to accompany them, without either of them knowing what the tools were for.

This chapbook collects and preserves their playful interaction for readers to enjoy.

Tool Tales is only available in print format and can be purchased world-wide from all good and specialist book stores. IFWG also sells the chapbook directly (click here).
