It is IFWG’s pleasure to announce the forthcoming horror fiction collection by Deborah Sheldon, Figments and Fragments: Dark Stories. It collects Deborah’s published short fiction but it also contains three new stories. The artwork and design is by the amazing Keely Van Order, magnificently depicting the overarching theme of the collection.
Brutal. Compelling. Sinister.
From wheat farms, roadhouses, caravan parks and beaches to quiet suburban streets and inner-city apartments, award-winning author Deborah Sheldon tells distinctly Australian stories about violence, loss, betrayal and revenge.
Figments and Fragments includes three new stories written especially for the collection.
Figments and Fragments will be released world-wide on 18 November 2019.
When you commission talent like Greg Chapman, you don’t just expect a quality product – you aren’t surprised when they work lightning quickly. Such is the case with this awesome front cover artwork and design for Claire Fitzpatrick’s upcoming collection, Metamorphosis. We are looking forward to its publication more than ever!
IFWG is pleased to announce the acquisition of a collection of new and reprint short fiction by notable Queensland horror author, and body-horror specialist, Claire Fitzpatrick. “We are doubly happy with this contract signing,” said Gerry Huntman, Managing Director of IFWG, “as the collection is a strong one with a firm, niche voice in the horror field, and we have observed Claire’s rapid rise in the horror field in this region, and we gladly want to be part of her journey into the international arena.”
We expect Metamorphosis to be released in Q2 2019.
IFWG Publishing is again happy to announce that, Shadows on the Wall, the dark and weird short story collection by Steven Paulsen, will be released for sale on 15 January 2018 (a double release with Jason Franks’ Faerie Apocalypse).
For a limited time – until the end of this year only – we have special prices for preorders made in Australia, UK and United Stated only.
IFWG Australia is pleased to announce the acquisition of a collection of 33 short stories by Deborah Sheldon, to be published in Q3 2018. The collection has no title at this stage.
“I’m excited by this project,” stated Gerry Huntman, Managing Director of the publishing house, “because we have Deborah’s latest fiction collected in ‘Perfect Little Stitches and Other Stories’, and this acquisition distills the very best of her earlier dark fiction. We also decided to add a bonus two original pieces. We have an amazing relationship with Deborah and it makes perfect sense to publish the complete continuum of her dark fiction for reader enjoyment.”
More details of this collection will be forthcoming in early 2018.
